The EDGE Project
Communities on the region's edge grapple daily with the hopes and fears of citizens, concerned about imminent growth and its eventual impact on their quality of life. Yet the development decisions made in these communities will ultimately have far wider impact, both on our entire region's quality of life and on our economic competitiveness with other regions across the country.
Initiated in partnership with the University of Minnesota's Center for Urban and Regional Affairs, the EDGE Project examines how communities on the rural-urban edge of the Twin Cities metropolitan area deal with growth and development issues.
