We advise you to refer to our official communication channels, like mcknight.org, for accurate information regarding our hiring process and other engagements. Please know that the McKnight Foundation does not ask for personal or financial information during our communication processes.
If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from the McKnight Foundation, do not respond or interact with it. Instead, we encourage you to report the message as spam to your email provider. This helps in preventing such fraudulent activities from spreading further. If you are unsure, check with our team at communications@mcknight.org for verification.
If you believe that you have inadvertently shared personal or financial information with a bad actor, contact your credit card company and/or bank to alert them to your situation immediately. We also advise that you forward the fraudulent emails to reportphishing@apwg.org. This is an address used by the Federal Trade Commission’s Anti-Phishing Working Group, which includes internet service providers, security vendors, financial institutions, and law enforcement agencies. You can also report it to us via email at communication@mcknight.org.
