The Board of Directors of The McKnight Endowment Fund for Neuroscience is pleased to announce it has selected ten neuroscientists to receive the 2024 McKnight Scholar Award. This is the second year McKnight makes these awards under the program’s new guidelines, which place additional emphasis on increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion to enhance the excellence and impact of our work.
Jeanelle Austin’s life’s work centers around pursuing racial justice with joy, and helping give others the tools to do the same. “I am working to build a future where we can all live on the other side of justice together, where we value people over property and center the sacredness of human life,” Jeanelle shares.
